Hi again, in this final phase I want to update our personal (and unofficial) chart every day, to follow the evolution of the serp. Now, there are 11 days left tto the end of the contest and Google changed his result positions once again. These are the actual top positions in the challenge, today 4 of May 2010.

After our last post, google rapidly changed his serp and moved us down, as to punish us for our vanity! :P (my collegue who wrote it, now is warned... hehehe)
The official chart was updated yesterday, so now we are at the 1st place together with the .net domain.
Our mushkonja.me domain was removed by the contest, as we wrote in it, according to contest's rules and aim.
The strange thing is that the .me domain seems to occupy his places in the contest, but hidden. For example in yahoo, the .me is in 1st and 2nd position and the .biz is 3rd, in the official chart at seo.al the mushkonja.biz is 3rd on yahoo and no one is taking places 1st and 2nd... strange the .me domain is not skipped in this calculation.
Anyway it doesn't matter, we are ready and even more happy to compete into this re-opened seo challenge! :)

We just added a new gadget for the contest, a flash animated graph which shows the indexed pages with the keyword mushkonja in the 3 search engines of the contest.
The graph updates itselfs every day at 9 a.m. (Mushkonja time GMT +1) and we are monitoring the engines using a fixed IP (which points to one of their servers) for each of them.

The first Albanian Seo Contest has started on 15 february 2010, the keyword is " mushkonja " and the winner will be the website with best positions in google.com, yahoo.com and bing.com (all search engines in usa version, it seems).
Seo is the acronym of search engine optimization, the technical branch of web marketing. Seo contests are now quite common, involving experts from all over the world or localized in one Country, for national competition.
This Mushkonja Seo Contest is opened to Albanians and international participants, a really good way to promote internet marketing in Albania.
